Lisa Conradi

Lisa Conradi, Psy.D. has spent her entire career in the area of child trauma, ranging from direct clinical practice as a Psychologist, to supervision, training, consultation, and administrative leadership within one of the largest trauma treatment centers and children’s advocacy centers in the nation. Like many of us, her life changed significantly due to the COVID-19 pandemic when she was placed in a significant leadership role and needed to support her wildly diverse team while also ensuring that they continued to provide their important services to the public.  

Dr. Conradi is one of the early trainers on a trauma-informed approach and has been doing this work since 2006. Key accomplishments include:

  • She has authored and co-authored a variety of publications on trauma screening and assessment practices, creating trauma-informed systems

  • Presented nationally on innovative practices designed to improve the service delivery system for children who have experienced trauma. 

  • She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and has received training from the developers on multiple evidence-based trauma-focused treatment practices, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). 

Dr. Conradi received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis and her graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, California.  She is on the editorial boards for the Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment and Trauma and the Journal of Child and Adolescent Trauma and served as an editor for the book, Female Offenders of Intimate Partner Violence. She is currently working on a monograph for the American Psychological Association on child trauma assessment.
