Announcing Trauma-Informed Leadership Individual Coaching
Feb 19, 2025
As we try to navigate the increasingly turbulent times, it has been more difficult than ever to be a leader. Many of us are leading teams who are highly stressed, constantly dysregulated, and are hypervigilant – consistently surveying the news or social media to see what new threats have emerged from the current administration. No matter your field – whether it’s the human services non-profit sector, governmental, hospital-based, or for-profit business, you are feeling the increased tension.
If you'd like more in-depth support to manage through these turbulent times, I’m excited to announce that I am launching individual coaching for those who are interested in strengthening their trauma-informed leadership skills.
Trauma-informed leadership coaching offers significant benefits to leaders and organizations by fostering healthier work environments and promoting sustainable growth. We will work together to help you navigate your current staff challenges while simultaneously improving the organizational culture so that these challenges diminish over time. At the end of the day, you’ll work in a more positive environment and have more time to do the things that light you up and promote your peace, while also taking care of yourself.
Here are 7 ways that trauma-informed leadership coaching will make your life better as a leader:
- Enhanced Emotional Intelligence
Trauma-informed leadership coaching will help you develop greater emotional intelligence, allowing you to recognize and manage your own emotions effectively and promoting your peace. This enhances your ability to empathize with others, improving communication, conflict resolution, and overall team harmony. - Compassionate and Accountable Leadership
You can balance compassion with accountability, creating a supportive yet high-performing work environment. This approach enables you to be sensitive to your team’s needs while ensuring that goals and standards are met. You can confidently navigate tough situations by holding team members accountable in caring and compassionate ways. - Building Trust and Psychological Safety
A trauma-informed approach helps you establish trust and psychological safety within your team. When team members feel safe, they are more willing to share ideas, take risks, and seek support, leading to innovation and enhanced performance. We will work together to identify specific strategies that you can use on your team to increase trust and safety, improving the overall environment. - Effective Conflict Resolution
Managing conflicts can be one of the most challenging aspects of being a leader – and one that many of us dread. Trauma-informed leadership coaching will help you gain skills to handle conflicts with empathy and composure, even in challenging situations. This leads to more constructive conversations and healthier workplace relationships. - Building Resilient and Empowered Teams
We will work together to help you foster autonomy while also promoting structure and connection. We will develop strategies to help your team build resilience in the face of challenges and adversity so that your team is more confident, collaborative, and capable of overcoming obstacles. - Reduced Burnout and Stress
We will actively identify strategies to emphasize your self-care and work-life balance, reducing burnout for both you and your team. By prioritizing well-being, you set an example that encourages a healthier, more sustainable work culture. - Stronger Team Morale and Cohesion
Understanding the impact of trauma and stress allows you to support and strengthen team dynamics. Increased trust and empathy within the team, boosting morale, collaboration, and overall effectiveness.
Embracing trauma-informed leadership not only enhances your leadership capabilities but also creates a more supportive and thriving workplace for everyone. Individual or group coaching can equip leaders to create a more supportive, resilient, and effective environment that not only benefits individual team members but also leads to broader organizational success.
During these coaching programs, we will work closely together to support you in managing your team through turbulent times. We have 6, 12, and month-to-month models available. Through journaling activities, role plays, and targeted task-driven homework, you will develop and/or strengthen your skills to lead your team through these turbulent and uncertain times.
